Alchemic Cutie The Cosy RPG Heads to PS5, PS4 and Switch June 16th
While there’s a definite amount of choice when it comes to dark RPGs maybe you’re looking for something a bit lighter. Alchemic Cutie brings a much wholesome feel with a cosy RPG about taking care of delicious Jellies. Sounds like a dream, however, there’s still a lot that goes into raising these wild creatures. Players will also meet other inhabitants of the village and even enter jelly competitions.
Cosy RPGs such as Stardew Valley come to mind, but Alchemic Cutie has its own spin on the slice-of-life RPG genre, a tasty twist. The game features collecting and breeding your own jellies. Each have different traits and characteristics. Players must nurture their jellies and keep them happy to unlock their full potential.
In between raising your own jellies, there’s an explorable island full of interesting characters and puzzles to solve. Other activities include fishing, farming and cooking. Make friends with the locals and build relationships to unlock further dialogue options, quests and more. Or maybe make a few enemies if you prefer to watch the world burn.
But it’s not all farm and fun. Players will use magic to create special items that possess powerful effects. These can be morphed into different items, even rare and powerful ones. The title also supports modding, so you can even expand on your creations.
RPGs come in many forms, including pixel form. These nostalgic titles bring a mix of old-school retro-styled graphics but with modern gameplay mechanics. Alchemic Cutie looks to be another relaxing way to spend your time farming jellies. If you’re a fan ofStardew Valley, Moonlighter,Harvestella, upcomingHaunted Chocolatierand similar titles, this will probably warm your 2D pixel RPG heart.
Alchemic Cutiewill be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on July 16th. It title is available on PC and Xbox consoles.
