Arcane Announces Release Date for the Second Season
The second season ofArcaneinspired byLeague of Legendspromises to make even more noise than the first. The series, which has promised to break our hearts at the end of this year, captures the tragedy ofJinx and Viin a single image will arrive this November.
The series inspired byLeague of Legendstook its time, but it will surely make a lot of noise. It turns out that not even Riot Games was sure that the series would become a success and began planning the second part when the first was already available. We will see if its release occurs in the same way, three episodes per week.
The new poster clearly references the first season, where Jinx and Vi were in the same position; but now, Jinx protects Vi, and her look makes it clear everything she has gone through and that the tenderness is gone.
As if we weren’t already scared enough, let us remind you of what Ella Purnell said after finishing recording her lines. The actress, who voices Jinx in the series (and who also stars in the adaptation of ‘Fallout’), warned that more than one person will need to buy tissues: “After recording the dialogues for the end of the season, I cried, so I think the fans will too. It’s devastating, and no one will feel good after watching it.”
Her comments were quickly associated with all those rumors suggesting that this second season will put an end to the story of Jinx and Vi. It was previously leaked that the plan was to continue the series but focusing on new characters from Runeterra, the other major game fromRiot Studio.
Everything indicates that in November we will watch each episode with bated breath, fearing the worst.
