ArcheAge II An Open World MMORPG Confirmed for Consoles and PC
The trailer features an interview with executive producer Jake Song. The trailer went into detail about what will be in store for players. TheMMORPGwill have “action-packed combat” and offer a “non-linear progression-based seamless open-world experience”. The trailer shows dragons, trolls and more when it comes to battles.
ArcheAge II will share the same universe and lore as ArcheAge I, but how the narrative is presented will differ. The sequel will focus on more “personal stories” which follow the first settlers in Auroria. This means discovering a new land with mysteries to uncover concerning an ancient civilisation.
Other changes made to this sequel will be the trading system, Song admits that the first has its flaws. In the second title players will get an enhanced trade system, with options to do “trade runs alone, in teams, or in raids”.
Housing will also be getting further features, with more customisations and the chance to creature towns with friends and guild members. It sounds like players will get to create their mini-community this way.
ArcheAge II has been announced to be coming to both PC and consoles.
