Ark: Survival Evolved Release Date Delayed

Today Studio Wildcard announced thatArk: Survival Evolvedwill be delayed past its initial August 8th release date and will now release August 29th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The Ragnarok map DLC and upcoming PC update will now be delayed to coincide with the new release date of August 29th, which will give Studio Wildcard an opportunity to now expand the new content, increasing the size of the overworld by about a quarter at launch. The update will add new biomes, gear, a new boss and more. Additionally they’ll be adding some custom creatures in the DLC which can be transferred over via the CrossArk system.

Until release, the developer plans to spend time on PC updates and performance issues as well multiplayer improvements.
