The Atelier series, created by Gust Corporation, has been captivating players since its inception in 1997. It was originally released for the PlayStation consoles, including PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. The franchise eventually expanded to other platforms. These include the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, WonderSwan Color, Sega Saturn, and Dreamcast.

While the series initially focused on the Japanese market, recent titles have been localized for a wider audience. This allowed fans worldwide to indulge in the enchanting alchemical world of Atelier. At the heart of the franchise lies the concept of the atelier, a workshop specializing in alchemy. Players are immersed in a gameplay experience where they search for, collect, and combine items to create powerful concoctions and progress through the game.

The success of the games has led to the creation of manga adaptations and two anime adaptations, further expanding the reach of the Atelier universe.
