Atlas Fallen Action-RPG Gets Release Date for May
The Action-RPG revealed during Opening Night Live has been given a launch date, releasing this May.
Developer behind titles such as the sci-fi soulslikesThe Surge 2and the upcoming dark fantasy RPGThe Lords of the FallenDeck13 have unveiled the launch date for Atlas Fallen. The game which was debuted during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live will be released on May 16th for PC and consoles.
The game’s cinematic trailer teased Destiny-type combat and mighty sand beasts that players will hunt down. The trailer garnered a whopping 2.4 million views on Youtube. TheAction-RPGhasn’t had many details since, but this latest update will surely bring about more news in the months leading up to its release. A recent tweet teases that new gameplay footage will be coming soon.
The announcement comes quite as a surprise since we haven’t seen much else the game since itsinitial annoucement. But what we do know is that it will cost $59.99 for the base game. The official Steam page describes “devasting sand-powered abilities” which means this will be based in a desert setting.
Atlas isn’t the only RPG that’s currently in development. Deck13 are also expected to launch the rebooted titleThe Lords of the Fallenwhich also received a reveal trailer at Gamescom.
Publisher Focus Entertainment did drop some new screenshots featuring the combat taking place in the arid desert.
