Atlus Announced That Shin Megami Tensei V Will No Longer Be Available on Nintendo

The developer studioAtlusis all set for the release ofShin Megami Tensei V: Vengeanceon June 14th. For this reason, the company announced that it will removeShin Megami Tensei Vfrom theNintendo eShopdigital store before the arrival of the new game.

WithShin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, players will be able to enjoy the original production alongside a second campaign, an alternative story that takes a different path at a certain point in the narrative, as well as general adjustments to enhance the user experience.

As forShin Megami Tensei V, it will no longer be available on June 13th, along with all additional downloadable content, one day before the release of the new production in the Nintendo digital store. However, even though the game will no longer be available on the Nintendo eShop, users who already purchased the title, as well as any other content, will still be able to access them without any inconvenience.

However, this is not a new practice on the platform, as earlier this year Octopath Traveler couldn’t be acquired in digital format for several weeks. In this case, the game became available again with Square Enix as the publisher, after initially being published byNintendo.

It should be noted that when searching for additional content for Shin Megami Tensei V, the contents of the Vengeance edition already appear.

“Mitama Wealth Dance,” “Mitama EXP Dance,” “Mitama Miracle Dance,” “East Cherry Blossom Demon Sub-Mission – Set of two sacred treasures,” and “Divine Will and Profane Dissent Demon Sub-Mission.”

“We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support and we appreciate our customers’ understanding,” they conclude on the linked website.
