After an event byAtlusandStudio Zero, the Japanese, led byKatsura Hashino, have finally revealed the release date of their next big JRPG.
Almost a year ago, Atlus surprised many because while many were expecting a glimpse ofPersona 6, the Japanese studio took advantage of the Xbox event to announce their new IP, Metaphor Re:Fantazio, of which we have learned that it is a project being developed by the usual Persona studio, which has automatically caused many to be on the lookout for this new proposal by the Japanese.
Since then, it has been affirmed on several occasions thatMetaphor Re:Fantaziowould be released at some point later this year, although Atlus has not gone beyond showing some gameplay of their new IP. However, it seems that the wait to enjoy this video game is finally over because Atlus has announced the release date of Metaphor: ReFantazio.
This announcement has also been accompanied by a new trailer in which we can see the video game in motion along with its world, which will take us to the kingdom of Eucronia. In this way,Metaphor: ReFantaziowill be about the murder of the king and a tournament to decide the next monarch, with one of its main features being the management of time.
Other than that, it is worth noting thatMetaphor: ReFantaziowill be released onXbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PCon October 11, with a rumored release version for the successor to the Nintendo Switch, although nothing official has been announced about this version yet.
