Larian Studios has revealed a few stats about their latest CRPG Baldur’s Gate 3 which has now been completed by over 1.3 million players.

Baldur’s Gate 3 made its debut on PC in August and subsequently on PS5 in September. Within just one month, it has not only been hailed as the best game of the yeargaining numerous accoladesandnominations, establishing a new benchmark for role-playing games.

Larian has unveiled some interesting stats including 1.3 million players have now completed the game. We also learnt that 1.24 million players have been transformed into a wheel of cheese. Players have spent a number of years in character creator, 8196 years in fact.

Players also seemed to favour creating a custom character with 94% of players choosing to make one. As for origin characters, players chose thecompanionGaleover 446,000 times.Astarioncomes in second place with 424,538.

Baldur’s Gate 3 also introduced abig patch update 5which added Honour Mode with around 158,000 players starting a playthrough in this mode. However, it’s not been going so great for over 34,000 players as they have already met their demise. On the more positive side 464 parties have already completed the game in Honour Mode successfully.

The most popular subclasses for players have been theBerserker Barbarian, followed byCollege of Lore BardthenTempest Domain Cleric. As for the most popular companion romantic-wiseShadowhearthas captured 51.3% of players’ hearts, who have reached the final act of her romance arc, withKarlachandLae’zalcoming in second and third place.
