Baldur’s Gate 3 is heading to PS5 next month and players can start preloading on August 31st.
Eager to step foot in the Forgotten Realms on PS5? Well, you can start preloading Baldur’s Gate 3 on console as early as August 31st. Larian Studios has announced PS5 owners can start prepping for the launch by the end of the month.
The exact time for the Deluxe Edition preload has been shared asAugust 31st at 16:00 UTC/9 AM PT. Those who have pre-ordered this edition can gain early access on September 2nd. However, for those who have purchased the Standard Edition, they will need to wait untilSeptember 4th at 16:00 UTC/9 AM PTto start preloading and will be able to start playing on September 6th. The size is roughly 122GB for PC so expect something similar for console.
One benefit for PS5 owners is that Larian has been busy releasing hotfixes for the game. Everything that’s been patched for the PC version will be the same for PS5. Just recently they released Hotfix #4, but shortly rolled it back after some issues. It has been since redeployed and has also altered the way future patches will be released.
