Ballad of Antara Shows Its First Gameplay
Ballad of Antarareveals its first gameplay, the game was one of the surprises at last May’s State of Play, an action RPG fromTipsWorks Studio and Infold Games, being developed with Unreal Engine 5, and is expected to arrive on PC and PS5 sometime next year. Additionally, it will be completely free.
Since then, we haven’t received much news about this adventure, but now Sony has just released a 14-minute video giving us an extensive look at its gameplay. Thanks to this, we can deeply explore its combat system, which will allow us to unleash powerful special techniques, block, dodge, and, of course, perform perfect parries.
The video also shows off the game’s current graphical look, as well as the design and structure of the world we will explore throughout our journey. This world has two distinct versions: a normal one and a darker, more sinister version called Para.
In a distant land, a phenomenon resembling a mist is ravaging the common world with an unknown malevolence. Players will embark on a perilous journey to seek out divine and majestic creatures, and recover the corrupted and lost “essences” of the land.
You will become anEmissary, a powerful entity that controls the force of fundamental essences. You’ll experience unique classes, diverse gameplay abilities, and captivating, enigmatic stories.
You will explorePara, a supernatural dimension where danger lurks in every corner. In your quest for truth, you will have to recover the essences of the world.
The game features a meticulously designed world with intricate level design, encouraging detailed exploration. This game blends action, RPG, and exploration elements in a universe full of mystery and danger.
Of course, the game is still in development, so as they warn us at the beginning of the video, everything we see is subject to change before the final version. It’s also worth noting that although it will be a game with a strong narrative component that can be fully enjoyed solo, it will also include co-op for up to three players.
