Beast the Turn-Based RPG Heads into Early Access on October 25th
Developer False Prophet announces the tactical turn-based RPG Beast will be heading into early access on Steam on October 25th.
The game has tactical grid-less combat and features dynamic as well as brutal battles. Players will have to make use of their surroundings to gain an advantage over their enemies in turn-based moves. The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5. Theprevious footage shown last monthshowed a plague-ridden world with some sinister things lurking.
A new early access trailer previews more of the grim tale of a soldier returning to his homeland after a long absence only to find it not how he remembered. A lost love, and now hellish plague has left Carpathian in a very different state. A maddened king is ruling the land which should also play into the story. The only people left are the loyal soldiers of this veteran. But the teaser also lets us know it will be told from two sides. Choosing to fight for the people or to “kill them all” which sounds like giving into the “beast”. It will be interesting how the insanity meter factors in also.
