Rounding up the Best Games heading our way this February, which is a mix of genres having something for everyone. We take a look at some of the biggest releases as well as a few gems releasing this month including Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Helldivers 2, Skull and Bones, plus more!
It looks like we’re in for another good year of games and February has some amazing titles. We’ve compiled a list of our favourite picks for the month which is quite an eclectic mix of major releases everything from adventure to roleplaying fantasy. So without further ado let’s get into the busy month of February releases.
A game we’ve already covered quite extensively on our channel, and is one not to be missed. Granblue Fantasy Relink is the Action-RPG we’ve all been waiting for. Taking place in the Zegagrande Skydom, a crew of adventurers about to dive head first into its mystery and conflict. Fighting together to survive the dangerous creatures that protect the floating islands in the Sky Realm.
The real-time action combat, let’s players choose from multiple companions and team up in a party. Together they can pull off impressive team up attacks called Link Attacks and Chain Bursts. With manyCharactersto choose from the combination of teams are numerous with lots of customisation when it comes to Sigils,Weaponsand more. The game features open-world areas with over 100 quests and hours of post game content. In Granblue Fantasy Relink you can take on the game solo, with no AI characters, or party up with characters. You can also group up with a max of four players in online mode.
We’ve put together a few videos which go over the best characters as well as our thoughts on the game’s endgame. There also sets to be more content coming to the game such as major boss fights in a free update in early March.
Granblue Fantasy Relinkwill be released on February 1st for PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam.
Last Epochis an Action-RPG that has spent a few years in early access, it is finally getting its 1.0 launch. Its fantasy story explores the essence of time travel through past, present and the future. This theme lets players see Eterra through different points throughout history as you attempt to save the world from the Void. Through your choices, you will also shape the world around you and the gameplay in turn.
The game’s combat is engaging, featuring dynamic real-time hack and slash that can be fought with a variety of skills and abilities. There’s also an arena mode to really test yourself with waves of enemies.
The full launch adds two further masteries the Warlock and Falconer making 15 Mastery Classes total. There are five base classes Mage, Primalist, Sentinel, Rogue and Acolyte each with three masteries under them. The game has an extensive variety of skills, 120 in fact which can be augmented. Through looting, crafting and combat players will be able to make numerous builds and further customisation.
Last Epochwill be released in full on February 21st for PC via Steam.

Another title not to be missed is Persona 3 Reload. It’s a reimagining of the classic RPG title. It gets a refreshed look with graphics and new aesthetic. Everything from the game’s characters to maps have been reloaded and will support 4K resolution with 60 fps. The game has gone through slight narrative and mechanics changes to make the experience much smoother and fluid.
As you’d expect from a Persona game it follows a group of students, and will have them battle demons in between classes. The main character Makoto experiences the tragedy of losing their parents to a fatal car crash. He returns to his home city for high school one decade later but things aren’t as they seem. He finds he can summon a Persona, which is described as a physical manifestation of his inner spirit. The main story will stay quite true to the original, with some new side quests to be experienced.
The game’s turn-based combat returns, where players can shift between party members to tackle multiple enemies at a time and take advantage of their weaknesses. Theurgy Attacks are a new mechanic introduced in Reload where players can either buff their allies or deal devastating damage to foes. The Persona classic systems return such as the demon fusion system and the social links feature to form better bonds with your party.
Get ready for part 2 as Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is finally here. Cloud and co with the second instalment of the highly anticipated remake. There will be a returning cast of characters, fan favourites Red XIII, Aerith, Barret, Sephiroth, as well as some new characters coming into play.
In the next chapter in the series, the game will pick up after the events of the first. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be full of surprises, as the game’s part one ending didn’t quite follow the original. The game will take players on a journey to the Forgotten Capital as Cloud and his group escape the city of Midgar as they chase after Sephiroth.
Despite being a continuation of the remake, Square Enix describes the game as a standalone adventure, and there will be a story recap of the first game. It will feature an evolved version of the real-time ATB system seen in the Remake, plus new ways to explore including upon Chocobo. There will be lots of mini games to enjoy, including the Gold Saucer.
Following a pair of spirit hunters, Banishers Ghost of New Eden is the upcoming narrative driven Action-RPG from Don’t Nod. A tale of a couple Antea and Red who are suddenly ripped apart following a terrible accident. Antea becomes a ghost, the very thing she used to hunt. The quest to find a way to bring her back will lead to some difficult decisions.
However having Antea on your team, being a ghost comes in handy as it opens up some advantageous skills. Antea being a ghostly being from beyond is armed with more spiritual abilities, balancing Red’s brawn. Through perception, her powers can help enhance navigating the land with a spectral leap to get to hard-to-reach areas.
The game has a unique combat system that mixes Antea’s spiritual powers and Red’s weapons, as well as a story that changes depending on your choices and actions. Each character players will meet will have their own tale behind their demise.
The gameplay follows the pirate theme with ships to sail, a crew to put together and plenty of treasure to seek after. As you grow more famous and climb the pirate ranks, more opportunities will head your way with high-risk, high-reward contracts to take up.
Of course, to get there you will need your own ship. Crafting a ship requires materials which you’ll need to collect. But crafting doesn’t stop there as there are plenty of weapons, attachments, and more you can adorn to enhance your vessel. Battles unfold on the high seas, where you’ll encounter other players steering their own vessels. Engage them in player-versus-player combat, or rally fellow pirates to your side to help bring down an enemy ship.
A narrative-driven turn-based RPG, The Thaumaturge unfolds in the vibrant metropolis of Warsaw, Poland, during the 20th century, a city teeming with a diverse mix of ancestries under the rule of the Russian tsardom. Amidst the bustling cityscape of merchants, soldiers, and townsfolk, there exist individuals with the unique ability to harness the power of spirits, known as Salutors. These individuals, called Thaumaturges, are the only ones capable of discerning the true nature and essence of Salutors. However, this extraordinary power carries a dark side and must be wielded with utmost caution.
The game is part detective part supernatural tale, as a Thaumaturge known as Wiktor tries to discover what happened to his father’s missing grimoire. Perhaps his gift or curse will help him get closer to the truth.The game uses turn-based battles in a narrative-driven isometric RPG. Being a Thaumaturge allows players to navigate different situations in numerous ways.
Taming Salutors will unlock unique skills to gain an advantage when exploring the world and in combat. Wiktor will use his ability to read hearts and minds to sniff out more Salutors, but is risky as it could lead to madness.
The Thaumaturgewill be released on February 20th for PC, Xbox Series and Playstation 5.
Heading into early access is the uniquely set gaslamp fantasy world themed Nightingale. It is a survival game where players take up the role of Realmwalkers who can travel through magical portals. Within each portal, they will traverse the forests of Faeworld, encountering a variety of both friendly and hostile otherworldly beings. Additionally, they will construct buildings that serve as their base.
Whether you choose to survive solo or adventure with friends it’s up to you. Working with others may make setting up your base more efficient. But you can also hire NPCs to help you keep your place in order.
Combat has a variety of weapons at your disposal for close range and from afar with magic-imbued ammo such as fire and lightning. This should come in handy when fighting major foes such as the Sun Giant boss who holds valuable trinkets that might be worth the challenge.
Nightingaleis set to launch in early access on February 22nd for PC.
With the last survivors of civilisation now under attack by a ferocious alien enemy, the planet as we know it is about to be taken over. As a Helldiver, it’s up to these elite peacekeepers to fight back for freedom. Putting together a squad, your job is to take on strategic missions and watch each other’s back.
This third-person co-op shooter will have you in brutal, high-action battles where friendly fire is possible. But it’s a risk Helldivers will take on to fight back these alien forces. Load up with a bevy of different weapons such as machine guns and even flamethrowers to kill it with fire. As you level up with the deep progression system, take on more challenging threats.
Use battle-changing stratagems, such as turrets and even airstrikes to get the job done, vital for any Helldiver. Threats include major bug-like aliens that can spew deadly bile attacks. Round up the squad as it’s going to be a hell of a ride.
Helldivers 2is coming out February 8th for PC and PS5.
