Black Myth: Wukonghas revealed new gameplay to showcase its performance on PS5. The game’s official profile on X has shared a video demonstrating how it looks on Sony’s devices.
This adventure of the Monkey King has captured players’ attention with its spectacular graphics and the frenzy of its continuous boss battles.
However, the community has expressed concern over the absence of reviews for the PS5 version, as the studio has not provided media with keys for Sony’s console version. It’s worth noting that there is still no release date for the Xbox Series version, which has raised old fears about other games that, after not being reviewed on consoles, ended up being released with poor performance on PlayStation or Xbox.
Amidst the community’s comments and the spreading rumors of poor optimization for Game Science’s PS5 version (something that no one knows for sure at this point), the studio has stepped forward to share gameplay footage of the game on Sony’s console, doing so through their social media channels.
Whether it’s a coincidence or not, this video, which lasts just over a minute and a half and was published by PlayStation China, shows a boss battle where everything appears quite smooth and without errors on Sony’s console. If the game maintains this level of performance throughout, it seems the PS5 version is quite solid.
Remember that Black Myth: Wukong will be released on PC and PS5 on August 20, while the Xbox Series X and S versions will be published later.
