Bloodstained Ritual of the Night: No Longer Supports Linux & Mac

Those who backedBloodstained: Ritual of the Nightand chose a Linux and Mac version can email the team via the kickstarter page to change their platform.

We have made this tough decision due to challenges of supporting middleware and online feature support and making sure we deliver on the rest of the scope for the game.

The team also provide an update on the development of the game stating it has “reached its peak” and currently testing the performance of the game on each platform. With enemy placements finalized, the development team is now focusing on fixing bugs and ironing out any remaining issues.

In the trailer you can see the game’s signature side scrolling 2D action that is a throwback to the challenging games of old, and is a spiritual successor to the Castlevania series. In the game you will be exploring a massive castle and its surroundinglocationswith the game’splayable characters, in search of a summoner who can lift the curse that afflicts you.
