Crimson Deserthas unveiled a new seven-minute gameplay video featuring an intense boss battle. Developed by Pearl Abyss, the open-world RPG is coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, though a release date has yet to be announced. The game boasts stunning visuals and an engaging combat system.
Following a massive 50-minute gameplay showcase last September, the Korean studio behindCrimson Deserthas released another glimpse of the game. This latest video highlights a boss encounter with a character described as:
“Hexe Marie defies the sacred laws of the sanctuary. Enchanted by hypnotic shadows, she dared to break forbidden taboos, infusing even her own son with darkness. Many have tried to thwart her twisted ambitions, but she remains within the sanctuary, consumed by rage and vile curses, awaiting the dawn of a false paradise.“
Crimson Desertpromises to be a spectacular action RPG adventure, offering dynamic combat typical of hack-and-slash games and cutting-edge visuals powered by the BlackSpace Engine.
The gameplay features intense melee combat with a fluid system blending physical attacks, magical abilities, and team tactics. Players will also experience large-scale battles with armies clashing on massive battlefields. To succeed, players must manage and upgrade a base camp, where they prepare for missions, manage resources, and interact with team members.
Beyond the main storyline, the open world offers a wealth of side missions, secrets, and activities. Players can explore the beautiful landscapes on horseback, assist locals, stop crimes, hunt extraordinary creatures, solve puzzles, and even enjoy minigames like fishing.
With its compelling gameplay and breathtaking visuals,Crimson Desertcontinues to impress and remains one of the most anticipated RPGs in development.
