The limited timeIron Bannermakes a triumphant return, and will stick around until October 19th, with theTrials of Osirisset to launch right after. The Iron Banner still features level advantages, but has undergone some changes in how the damage curves are applied.Weaponsandarmorwill continue to be reward drops, and they can also be purchased from Lord Saladin withLegendary Marksinstead ofGlimmer. New daily and weeklybountiesfor the event will give players an opportunity to earn as many of the marks as they can.

Trials of Osiris is also undergoing some changes, most pointedly is teams will now be matched up against teams with a similar amount of wins. So the more you win, the harder your next opponent will be. Trials specific equipment will only drop for winning teams, and will be received into your inventory right away.

The push towards bigger and better loot continues as Bungie continues to tweak the game and give players more and more to do on a daily basis. Tab over for the full patch notes, and we’ll keep up with all the updates here and at theDestiny Wiki.

Surprised they didn’t touch rangefinder on shotguns, especially when you’re rewarded a conspiracy thoery with rangefinder during one of the vanguard quests, i was still killing from a decent range with it.
