Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Expansion News Coming in June
CD Projekt Red have announced the expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty will be getting some new details in June.
The expansion Phantom Liberty is the next major update forCyberpunk 2077. The dystopian set RPG will be gaining its major addition later this year, but developer CD Projekt Red promises we’ll be getting a look at what’s coming in June.
June is a busy month for gaming news asSummer Game Festwill be happening on June 8th. With the newly cancelled E3, it looks like we’ll be hearing more most likely during this time.
In case you missed it,Phantom Libertywill follow V, the main character of the main game. In the teaser trailer previously released they look to be getting in some trouble again, now swearing allegiance to the New United States of America. Now with America at the hands of a new government, things are about to get bumpy.
Also revealed last December is a new celebrity face (move overJohnny), Idris Elba will be taking up the role of FIA Agent Solomon Reed. But familiar face Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu “You’re Breathtaking” Reeves will be reprising his role. Despite his character not being exactly the good guy, the actor’s star power seemed to have won players over.

Not much else has been divulged, but what do know is the expansion will be coming to current-gen consoles only, PS5, Xbox Series and PC. Moving away from last-gen due to their technical constraints.

The title has also gotten its own anime Netflix seriesCyberpunk: Edgerunnerswhich has a crossover-themed cosmetic DLC.
