So judging from the message and screenshot it looks like we’re going to be getting a better look at theHollow Arena, which is coming with the Ashes of Ariandel expansion and promises to be a dedicated PvP zone for competitive enthusiasts, of which we guess are a few. We’ve all been wondering just how the arena will be implemented for players so we are hopeful that this new trailer reveals some of the wrinkles we can expect when the expansion comes available on October 25th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The expansion is bringing the following in addition to the PvP arena:

Emergence

Editor at Fextralife. I look for the substantial in gaming and I try to connect video games to the emotions and stories they elicit. I love all things culture and history and have an odd fondness for the planet Jupiter. I think my dogs are pretty awesome too.

What I want to know is why they still haven’t made a boss attack arena, where you fight them all in one go

Bloodborne was originally going to be two DLCs before they combined them, and it had five bosses. If they’re using the same overall structure, then I wouldn’t expect more than five total bosses between the two DLCs. I almost wonder if they’ll do something cool, like have a hidden boss in the second that you can only access with an item from the first?

Here’s hoping the arena is specialized enough that getting lag killed is gone.….….Bahaha, we can dream right?

We’ll know soon enough. Here’s to hoping.

There’s obvious boss music during that part of the video, though, and since the rest of the video except for the “final” boss doesn’t have music, we can assume that it plays exclusively during that fight. You can also see what appears to be a very large fog wall at roughly 3:47.

I’m under the impression that we have only seen one.I’ve heard that the wolf is just a mini-boss.And I suspect that the girl with the scythe is connected to the fight with the Lord Vessel wielder.

If that happens to be true, we still have one unreveiled boss.

I mostly agree, but I don’t like that they’ve apparently shown all of its bosses.

It’s a meme from DaS2. Everywhere you went, you’d find skeletons in various desperate situations like trying to climb out of a cauldron of lava, but no matter how bleak things looked, their ever-grinning faces spoke of hope and uplifted spirits. At least, that was the popular interpretation.

This is surprising news though, I didn’t think we’d see anything about the arena until post-launch. I definitely like how they’re handling the info stuff this time around, letting us know about all the stuff we’re concerned about without spoiling absolutely everything. Stuff like maps, ambushes, locations of everything, all the stuff you learn while actually playing through it is still hidden but the information given is still candid and relevant.

“Next week, we’ll have a Ashes of Ariandel PvP trailer on the way. Don’t give up, Skeletons.”

Some souls-people have been calling me skeleton for a while now and I’ve been pondering what is up with that. Is this the source or am I missing some meme or something?

Looking forward for the actual teaser of course.
