Dark Souls Vinyl Trilogy Coming Soon, Features The Musical Score From Every Game

Hey there, you audiophile with your fancy new retro turntable, pay attention. Bandai Namco has announced that theDark SoulsVinyl Trilogyis coming soon. Watch and listen:

There will only be 2000 of these available and will go for £109 and for now will be available in the EU (but that may hopefully change). The boxed set consists of 9 differently colored albums that collect every one of those signature score pieces that made our hair stand up on edge, as well as functioned as the soundtrack to our death. There is no release date and the set can’t be purchased yet, but will be available directly from Bandai Namco at some point in the future.

The music of the Dark Souls series is possibly its most underrated element, and tends to be overlooked in favor of the game’s signature combat and cryptic lore hunting. Upon closer listen, the franchise’s score holds its own as a modern classic.

Thoughts on the Dark Souls Vinyl Trilogy? Many of us own the soundtracks digitally, but this is one collector’s item that may be worth having especially if you’re of the camp that believes Analog>Digital. Prepare to Unwind.

Nito.

FWIW, Seath the Scaleless is my ringtone & the Dark Spirit Invasion sound is my notification

TW3 gave out the digital soundtrack with the game. CDPR is <3

lol the toughest of crowds.

Okay, that’s actually kind of awesome. I guess even Bandai can be cool every once in a blue moon.

Well, until they decided to make it a limited 2,000 only thing, but I guess if it wasn’t scummy in some way then they wouldn’t be Bandai Namco.

that is really awesome, I’m gonna make sure I get one. hopefully 2000 pieces is enough to ensure a pre-order once it is open to it. I have no idea how many people would want this.

typically, I prefer getting a CD, then ripping it to my PC and storing the CD. That what i did for the Witcher 3 and Dark Souls 3. Also like getting the soundtrack for games when I buy them digital. Still, this sounds like a cool collectible for those who would enjoy it…………………..still waiting for them action figures Fromsoft.

To be completely honest, I’m normally not one for collectible stuff like statues, but in this case I really want to get my hands on this. I’m a huge music fan and buying these would give me a reason to get a new turntable. I could totally see myself putting a record on and cleaning the house.

I was looking at these on ThinkGeek since they have all three but they are separate. A collection though would be nicer, one thing I hope though is that the DLC content tracks for Dark Souls 3 will be on there since currently looking at the vinyls on ThinkGeek, while the Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 have the DLC tracks, the Dark Souls 3 vinyl does not which I was slightly disappointed to see.
