Darksiders 3: 12 Minutes of Gameplay Released

If the week’s earlierDarksiders 3 launch revealgot you excited, then how about some gameplay? Check out 12 minutes of pre-alpha gameplay with Fury, the new horse(wo)man who is featuring in this one:

As you can see, she makes liberal use of the whip and the gameplay seems to continue to share elements in common with the first 2. You’ll be controlling Fury during her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The Charred Council calls upon her to battle from the heights of heaven down through the depths of hell in a quest to restore humanity and prove that she is the most powerful of the Horsemen.

To be fair, Fury’s always had the whip as her primary weapon, at least as far as Darksiders has been concerned.But you’re right, they need to make it have more of an impact, because right now it seems way less impressive than the previous games.

I hope they have other weapons because that wasn’t kinda lame, particularly compared to the heavy two handed ways of previous games. Flimsy whip vs demonic entity looks dumb.

Still on ore alpha so hoping they add some more stuff

It definitely looks like a Darksiders game. But I don´t like how whip sounds. I hope they add a little more impact when it hits an enemy.
