Dead Cells early access is now available for players onSteam. The Rogue-Vania game from indie developer Motion Twin features permadeath and Souls inspired combat, while unfolding across a Metroidvania style layout.
Dead Cells is a rogue-lite, metroidvania action-platformer. You’ll explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle assuming you’re able to fight your way past its keepers in 2D souls-lite combat. No checkpoints. Kill, die, learn, repeat.

The game is launching at 16.99 USD with a %15 day one discount, and the entire package will contain nearly half of the planned content, of which the developer anticipates will take 8 months to finish.

The gameplay of Dead Cells looks promising even from the perspective of a masochistic player.
