Death Stranding Director’s Cut, the most complete version of Hideo Kojima’s game, arrives unexpectedly on Xbox Series X|S. The title continues to grow in celebration of its fifth anniversary since its initial release on PS4.
Death Stranding 2is already on the horizon. The game, announced for PS5, is still in development, but Kojima Productions is expanding its reach beyond Sony consoles and PC. Death Stranding Director’s Cut is now available on Xbox Series X|S.
The news has come as a very welcome surprise for many players. Death Stranding Director’s Cut arrives on Xbox Series X|S to mark the game’s fifth anniversary, accompanied by a 50% discount.
This enhanced version, released some time after the original, introduced interesting additions and features that subtly changed the gameplay experience Kojima delivered in this unique post-apocalyptic open world.
The game, also available on Amazon Luna, continues to reach new players as part of Kojima Productions’ strategy to bring the IP “to more platforms and audiences,” as stated by the developer in a press release.
