With the Destiny 2 beta in full swing for pre-orders and open beta access coming to everyone on PS4 and Xbox One shortly, folks are turning their attention to the kinds of gear that’s going to be in the sequel. As we covered in ourimpressionspiece, the weapon categories have been tweaked, and there are some newweaponsand weapon types. Of course the beta is packed with new legendary andexoticweapons andarmor, and you can find all of them compiled here for your perusal as well as tips on how to earn them before the beta ends Sunday.

You can earn the Destiny 2 exotic weapons during the openingHomecomingmission. It’s one hell of a starting sequence and as you make your way through it, eventually you’ll encounter Lord Shaxx who will open a door to an armory where you can select your class specific exotic. They are as follows:

There are around 20 Legendary Weapons you can obtain. Eachclassbegins with their own unique loadout and you can obtain the rest of the legendary weapons, including the class exclusive weapons, as drops in the Crucible and Strike.

The following is a comprehensive list of all the Legendary weapons that drop in the Crucible and Strike. Most of these are available through the 3 default class loadouts, but a handful of them can only be obtained as drops from playing in the Crucible or the Strike and they are noted below. If you want to get your hands on them all, be sure to spend some time in these multiplayer activities.

To get what you need quickly, stick to the Crucible matches as they are much shorter than the Strike. Then you can spend the rest of your beta weekend playing with the new weapons and testing the game’s new content and mechanics in whatever activity you please.
