Destiny 2 Open Beta Details & Trailer Released
Today,Bungiehas released the open beta trailer forDestiny 2, which is landing July 18th for the PS4 pre-orders and July 19th for Xbox One pre-orders. Everyone else will gain access on July 21st, except for PC players who have to wait until August. Destiny 2 willreleaseforPS4andXbox Oneon September 6, and forPCon October 24.
Play the opening of Destiny 2’s new, cinematic story campaign, take on the three-player cooperative Inverted Spire Strike and battle in two competitive multiplayer modes.
Here is what the beta is going to contain for players:
Clansaren’t supported, character progression won’t be accurate and character continuity will not carry over to the main game when it releases in September, however players who participate in the beta will earn the following special emblem:

I’m most excited about the prospect of matchmaking for the better PvE content like Raids. I’m not much for PvP myself and while Strikes are fun, they got old. It seems they’re also pumping more story content and side quest stuff for the PvE fans.
I really liked the gameplay of Destiny, but I’m not much on PvP with shooters. I’ll definitely check this out and see how it shakes out
