The second act, beginning on November 19, will include a collaboration withStreet Fighter 6in the form of cosmetic items, an upgrade to the movement-based super abilities, and a new roguelike activity that reimaginesPrison of Elders,according to PC Gamer.
TitledTomb of the Elders, it combines combat and short platforming sections. Guardians will face their ultimate enemies, including the Cabal Shadow Legion, the Lucent Hive, and Horrors. Each encounter will feature various random challenges in addition to combat, such as reaching a switch to cut off a poison gas and dealing with negative modifiers.
At the end of the activity, there will be a treasure room with different rewards, though it is unknown if this will include exclusive equipment only obtainable here.
Next Tuesday’s update will also significantly improve supers that are not based on a single projectile Bungie has decided to increase the recharge speed of these abilities by 300%.
Regarding theStreet Fighter 6cosmetic items, there will be emotes, finishers, ghosts, and a Blanka helmet compatible with all classes. The price of these items has not been specified.
In addition to continuingDestiny 2with the next expansion, which will have a Metroidvania structure, Bungie is also working on the extraction shooterMarathon, which appears to have started its promotional campaign.
They also recently announcedDestiny Rising, a mobile version of their shooter-MMO developed by NetEase Games: it will be playable in both first and third person, will have cooperative and solo modes, feature predefined hero characters, and will be free to play.
