Diablo 4 Dev Livestream to Focus on Battle Pass, Seasons & Cosmetics
Blizzard’s next livestream for upcoming Diablo 4 will be diving into what seasons, battle pass and cosmetics will look like.
The fires of hell seem to be hotting up as the developer team for Diablo 4 are having a live stream onMay 10that 11 AM PDT. This is just a couple of days before theServer Slam Beta. As we near the launch of the game, Blizz still has some topics to talk about before the ARPG fully unleashes.
This live stream will delve into the details about Diablo 4Seasons, the optionalBattle Passand take a look at cosmetics. It will be led by the general manager Rod Fergusson, associate game director Joseph Piepiora, product management director Kegan Clark and associate director of community Adam Fletcher.

The post which was announced on Blizzard’s official blog, emphasises “the completely optional Battle Pass” which is a reminder that players don’t have to opt-in if they want to. Previously it was outlined the Battle Pass will take roughly80 hours to complete. It will offer both a free track and a paid track which comes with cosmetic rewards. Cosmetics could range from looks, weapons, mounts and event backpacks like theWolf Pupplayers scored in the previous betas.
A Season Pass is already included for those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Editions. Seasons will also gain some details on what we can expect in terms of the optional game mode. These are expected to last3 month cyclesaccording to previously released details.
While we gear up to launch a final server test will be happening on the weekend of May 12th. All players are invited this time to explore Sanctuary one last time before the gates of hell are officially opened. TheDiablo 4 Server Slamwill allow Blizz to test just how sturdy the servers are. After the previous open beta let’s hope that they’ve prepared enough to support the hordes of players undoubtedly expected to play before the official launch.
