Maybe there will be some announcements of a new class at some point? Diablo Immortal got a new vampire class the Blood Knight, which would be fitting with S2’s vampire theme. Whether it will make its way to ARPG isn’t looking that hopeful at the moment. According to a recent Gamescom interview with the German publication 4Players, the Blood Knight class and Season of Blood are a pure coincidence.
They have two different teams working on each of the games, but the vampire-esque theme seems popular. There doesn’t seem to be any plans for the class to be joining Diablo 4 anytime soon. Rod Ferguesson the GM of the franchise explained that the games are “very different”. Most likely the new theme is just fitting for the Halloween season which is already shaping up to be full of fearsome festivities.
