Today, developer Larian Studios announced that they’vesurpassedthe one million milestone for their highly-acclaimed CRPG,Divinity: Original Sin 2,occurring just a little over two months since the game’s release back in September.
Prior to this,Original Sin 2was close to reaching its500,000 mark, happening in a mere few days from its launch, which took thefirst entrytwo to three months to accomplish.
A chunk ofOriginal Sin 2‘ssales come from SteamEarly Access andKickstarter, with approximately 180,000 copies sold. While the rest includes over 920,000 copies bought through Steam alone, according to stats fromSteam Spy.
This well-deserved achievement from Larian definitely speaks volume on the care and passion that has gone into creatingOriginal Sin 2.With some arguing it being thebestRPG of all-time, on top of being one the games of this generation responsible inrevivingthe CRPG genre.
