Dragon Age Changes Its Name to Dragon Age: The Veilguard & Already Has a Date For Its First Trailer

BioWareis getting ahead of event announcements and is already bringing us some of the most interesting news in the world of video games, with updates on one of the most beloved series by fans of role-playing and medieval fantasy.
We’re talking aboutDragon Age, asBioWarehas just published an official statement announcing some interesting things regarding the next game in the series, which we previously knew asDragon Age: Dreadwolfand which will now be calledDragon Age: The Veilguard.
BioWareitself comments that this new name aims to capture the essence of the game since “the original title did not show how confident we felt about our new heroes, their stories, and how you will have to unite them to save all of Thedas.”
This new installment, like the previous ones, will be entirely standalone, featuring the main hero we want to create and a cast of seven unique companions with deep and compelling stories. Additionally, of course, our decisions will affect our relationship with them and their own lives.
In addition to the name change,BioWarehas also given us another highly anticipated piece of news: next week, specifically on Tuesday, June 11, we will be able to see a video with more than 15 minutes of gameplay showing us some initial moments of the game, allowing us to revisit Thedas for this new adventure.

This, in principle, would put an end to the rumor thatDragon Age: The Veilguardwill be at the Xbox Game Showcase next Sunday, but we should not rule out the possibility of them showing a small trailer at the Microsoft event and then releasing this more extensive video next Tuesday.
