Dragon Age: The Veilguardhas provided tons of extra details thanks to a report on the game’s official Discord. Options related to settings, story, and combat have come to light.
Dragon Age: The Veilguardwill be released on October 31st for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, marking a highly anticipated return to BioWare’s legendary fantasy saga. RPG fans rejoice, but before its release, let’s dive deeper into what this game has to offer.
Although Electronic Arts has unveiled a substantial amount of details about Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a game as vast as this still holds much information in reserve. Fortunately for fans, the official Discord of the game has been the chosen portal to share more data.
A significant amount of details related to the story, companions, and configuration and customization options of the new Dragon Age have been revealed. Below are some of the most relevant ones.

You will also be able to make use of the famous skill point respect or reset and enjoy the transmogrification of armor and street clothes to role-play comfortably, no matter where you are in the game.
Moreover, The Veilguard will not require a permanent connection to play. On Discord, it was detailed that the graphical quality of the hair is excellent, and there will be all kinds of customization options.
Regarding exploration, combat, and companions, it was specified that story missions will be more linear but will have great handcrafted development, and each companion has unique abilities outside of combat.
Related to companions, it was noted that there are no NPCs in the game with whom you can have a romance beyond your companions, and this is a completely deliberate decision. Additionally, relationships will go beyond simple romance.
Each companion will have their own narrative arc and missions, and gifts, special items that you can find around the world to show your affection, will return. There are also favorite foods, and everything revolves around the idea that the group will be considered a family.
In terms of combat, each class has two weapon slots, and you can switch between them even in the middle of an attack, with access to powerful elemental attacks. There’s no need to bring specific tanks or characters if you don’t want to.
Lastly, regarding the story, it is known that the choices you make will have different outcomes, and there may be content you won’t see in your first playthrough. Additionally, there’s no requirement to have read related books, comics, etc.
Choosing a faction offers unique dialogue options with certain companions, and the relationship and dialogues with Solas can be more or less friendly, with companions also having their own interactions with this prominent character.
