Capcomhas confirmed thatDragon’s Dogma 2has surpassed 3 million copies sold. Last month, it was announced that in its first ten days, it exceeded 2.5 million, marking a milestone for the Japanese company.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 was released in March with great anticipation from fans as it is the sequel to a highly regarded action RPG. In post-launch support, it has received several updates with improvements and balances, from the effects of the draconic plague to better behavior of the pawns during combat and dialogues.
It’s still early to think about expansions, butCapcomhas mentioned the possibility; the original had an expansion, Dark Arisen, so the good commercial results of the sequel might encourage the development of a DLC.
The game, directed byHideaki Itsuno, known for theDevil May Cry series, reached 2.5 million sales in its first week and closed the fiscal year until March 31st with 2.6 million units sold. In March, it solidified its position as the best-selling game in the North American market.
