Dragon’s Dogma 2 Teases First Details of Its Upcoming Update
Dragon’s Dogma 2will soon receive a new update with performance improvements across all platforms. The action RPG was released in March for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, and since then, several patches have been launched with various optimizations, including graphical improvements.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 makes full use of the RE Engine technology with an open world, which at its launch showed certain performance issues.
“Soon we will release an update for all platforms that will further improve CPU load, reduce crashes, and offer additional adjustments,” says the official account. “More details will be announced as soon as they are ready.”
After release, consoles received the option to choose between high or low-quality graphics, as well as 120 Hz screen compatibility to unlock the framerate. As we can see, Capcom continues working to improve the experience, though for now, there is no news of an expansion.
This month, Hideaki Itsuno, director ofDevil May Cry 5 and Dragon’s Dogma 2,among other titles, announced that he was leaving Capcom. For now, he hasn’t revealed his next project or whether this will affect the future of theDragon’s Dogmasaga.
