Capcomhas announced the upcoming adjustments and fixes coming toDragon’s Dogma 2with an update this month. It doesn’t have a date on any platform yet, but we know some of the changes, and one will affect theDragonsplague, the disease that can cause a pawn to end up wiping out the entire city and causing so much headache in the community.
Capcom’srole-playing game will reduce the frequency of infection and adjust the symptoms in pawns to make it more evident to the player; the developer mentions, for example, that bright eyes will be more visible. Additionally, you’ll be able to zoom in on the faces of the Arisen and pawns on the status screen, shops, etc.
During the first days after the launch, players found that sometimes their pawns would change their comments and their fighting style would become more aggressive.
Capcomitself made a comment after the discovery, which required throwing off the infected pawns and reclaiming them later if it was the main pawn.
The patch will make acquired treasures stop appearing on the minimap and will make various adjustments to the behavior and dialogues of the pawns: they will fall less often from cliffs, the frequency of some dialogue lines will be reduced, others will be improved to have less context with the situation, and more, including fixing bugs where pawns sometimes stop guiding after offering the option.
Other known errors that will be fixed are defeats in escort missions, which were sometimes incorrectly considered losses, possible crashes, and various gameplay bugs.
