Reclaim your heart in the epic Action RPG “Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen”. Coming to PS4 and XB1 this fall!

There aren’t any details regarding this version, but we can presume it will receive a graphical boost similar to the PC release. This re-release will celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary which it just reached in April.

Capcom is really getting some good mileage out of the game and there are perhaps a sizeable number of players who never had a chance to play the first on the last gen consoles. Fortunately for them, the game has held up well. Thoughts on Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen coming to consoles?

So the mods sound worth it. I’ve been poking around Nexus and it does sound cool. I’ve got a good PC and my PS4 is unupgraded, so it sounds like PC wins out there too. PLUS, it’s on steam. So i can wait for a sale and get it for less! Sounds like I should get it on PC. Thanks for the advice Forum_Pirate.

You can replace the environment textures so most of them look somewhat less terrible. You can adjust stat growths so if you want to play as a certain class (basically anything except an assassin or sorcerer) you don’t have to spend 80+ levels playing some other class. I consider that worth it.

It’s also worth noting that the base PS4 might not be able to maintain 60fps without sacrificing something, and so might have to take a visual downgrade or be locked at 30. I say this because the PS4 has about the same level of power as the 750ti which can’t maintain 60 fps at 1080p (regardless of settings.) So if you have a better GPU than that*, which isn’t a high bar, you’ll be able to maintain 60fps and that makes a huge difference to how this game plays, especially for those skills that rely on timing (perfect blocks, some assassin moves, the charged attacks of the ranger and warrior.) I’d say that’s worth it all on it’s own, to be honest.

Cool! Loved it on the PS3, and I was just considering getting this game again for the PC. Ah, now I actually have to decide which one to get… PC or PS4… PC or PS4…

Hey, does anyone have it on PC? If so do you mod it? I wanna know if the mods are worth it. It’s kind of the deciding factor.
