Dune Awakening images revealing UI and environment have leaked. The upcoming MMO Dune Awakening, expected to release sometime this year, has had four UI images leaked via Reddit,increasing the anticipation for the survival MMO coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
The set of leaked images come despite Developer Funcom’s game showcase from weeks ago, where they confirmed that the game will not be tied to Warner Brother’s cinematic IP.
Three of them images are of the character creator, one revealing over 20 hairstyle options, and another showing all the options for nose design, from height to angle to bridge or width. Since these are leaked images, they are not in high resolution, but at least we can see what the user interface and gameplay ofDune Awakeninglook like.
The third image shows character class and defines the characteristics of the Mentats Order, humans trained in the Mentat art who function as computers.
Mentat adepts are capable of storing and analyzing large amounts of information at superhuman speed. By choosing it in the game, the character will be able to scan enemies and nearby objects to gather information about them.
The last leaked image shows some mechanics of building construction and some parts of the interface, specifically the walls. Comments on the Reddit post suggest that these images come from what the press could see at PAX East and GDC.
Dune: Awakeningtakes place on Arrakis, the world invented by Frank Herbert in 1965, and combines resource gathering with the creation of objects and buildings from survival games and the social interaction of an MMO. Players will encounter characters from the movies and books as they explore vast deserts, ancient underground laboratories, or bustling villages while encountering massive sandworms.
