Easy Quick Waffles
This is an easy waffle recipe I make frequently. It’s suitable for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or for those days I’m not in a mood to cook a full meal.
This recipe makes about 12 waffles.
Ingredients:
2 cups of All-purpose flour
4 teaspoons of Baking Powder
1 tablespoon of Sugar
1/4 teaspoon of Salt
2 Eggs
1 3/4 cup of Milk
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
Directions:
Place all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix them.
Place all liquid ingredients in a bowl and mix them.
Combine the dry ingredients with the liquid ingredients and mix them well to make the batter.
Pour the batter in small doses into the waffle machine and let it bake until they are golden brown.
If you don’t have a waffle machine, you can do pancakes with the batter instead of waffles. Just get a frying pan and some oil to make them!
They are great with savory things, like butter, cheese, or ham.
Or with sweet things like jams, honey or… ICE CREAM!
If you can’t eat them all after baking them, just store them in the fridge or a breadbox. They usually become soft after an hour or so, but 1-2 minutes in the toaster and they are awesome again!
ENJOY!
