In this Elden Ring Eleonora’s Poleblade Build T Guide, I’m showcasing my Blood Dancer build, which is the level 100 evolution of the Blood Dragon build. A Bleed Build focused on Arcane and the use ofEleonora’s Polebladeto deal incredible damage very quickly and set the Hemorrhage status effect.

First, let’s talk about the weapon that we’re going to be using here. You’ll notice that we’ve swapped out our dual scimitars forEleonora’s Poleblade. This is one of the weapons that had buggedArcanescaling that was fixed. So now this weapon is extremely viable, and I’m going to show you why we use it here.
This weapon is extremely deadly, and there are a couple of reasons for that. First, it hasblood lossbuildup on it, meaning that you’re going to be able to set thebleedingstatus effect, which is crucial forArcanebuilds because they generally increase the, you know, quickness that blood loss buildup occurs when you pumpArcane, and that is the case here. This weapon starts at 33 by default, but you can see with all theArcanethat we have, we’re up to 76 blood loss per swing, which is absolutely good.
Next,Twinbladeshave a very rapid move set, meaning that they’re able to hit multiple times in quick succession, particularly if you’re two-handing, allowing them to get those hits in rapidly, kind of like the way we were doing with the dual scimitars, allowing for that blood loss to occur faster. Additionally, this weapon has physical and fire damage, so it’s got two different damage types, which is fantastic.
The weapon skill,Bloodblade Dance, is among the best in the game. When you press L2, your character quickly takes a stance and then lunges forward, spinning and slashing for a couple of seconds. If you press L2 again, you execute more slashes followed by a backward leap, creating a brief downtime of about a second before you can use it again. You can repeat this sequence, which is excellent for rapidly building blood buildup, causingHemorrhagequickly due to the multiple hits in quick succession.
Bloodblade Danceis also highly effective at staggering enemies. Two successive L2 presses are often enough to drop larger enemies, creating an opening for a critical strike or allowing you to continue attacking while they’re down. This skill can significantly disrupt enemies, and if you have enough stamina, you can press L2 again to possibly trigger another bleed while they’re on the ground. The combination of high blood buildup and stagger potential makesBloodblade Dancea formidable weapon skill for any bleed-focused build.
This weapon scales with bothDexterityandArcane, withDexteritygaining a C rating at +7, which is why I use it. However, splitting your stats betweenDexterityandArcanedoesn’t lead to much of a damage boost. In my testing at level 100, shifting 10 points fromVigorinto a mix ofDexterityandArcaneresulted in only about 8 extra damage points. This shows that focusing onArcanewhile keeping yourVigorintact can be just as effective.
Arcaneis a key stat because it boosts weapon damage, spell damage, and the speed ofbleedbuildup, making it more versatile thanDexterity. Given its broader benefits, prioritizingArcaneis a better approach for this build, as it enhances your overall damage potential while improving bleed effectiveness.
Moving along to the seal that we use for this Eleonora’s Poleblade Build, we use theDragon Communion Seal. This is the same one that we used in the last build, and that’s because it scales withArcaneand has S scaling with it at plus 7. This is fantastic. This means that the spells that you cast with it are going to benefit from all those points you’re dumping intoArcane, and they’re going to benefit from it highly, so they’re going to deal increased damage. And not only that, as I mentioned, you’re increasing your weapon damage, and you’re increasing yourblood lossbuildup speed at the same time. You also do use a couple ofDragon Communionspells with this build, so those will be amplified by this as well.
Besides that, the armor that you wear is not super important. I use theMask of Confidencebecause it gives you plus 3Arcane, and it doesn’t have any negative effects like some other helmets that give youArcane. There’s really no downside to wearing this other than it’s not the strongest armor in the game. However, you can compensate for that by wearing heavier armor and other pieces if you want. Really, you just want to have as much protection as possible and still be able to medium roll.
The four talismans that I use for this build are theGreen Turtle Talisman,Radagon’s Soreseal,Lord of Blood’s Exultation, andWinged Sword Insignia.
TheGreen Turtle Talismanhelps increase the speed at which we will generate stamina. That’s important for this because you drain your stamina bar fast using L2 attacks, and you need it to come back to be able to pull this off over and over.
Radagon’s Soresealis fantastic for this build because not only can everyone benefit from endurance andVigorfor more stamina, equip weight, and health, but you also need somestrengthand someDexterityto use this weapon.
Depending on your class, you’re probably gonna need someStrength, but other classes may already meet the strength requirement orDexterityrequirement, but you’re going to need a little bit anyway. So this is going to save you several levels, and because you’re gainingVigorandEndurance, allowing you to wear heavier armor and bumping your HP, even though you’re taking increased damage from wearing this, you’re sort of offsetting it a little bit.
Lord of Blood’s Exultationincreases your attack power by 20% for 20 seconds when you’re near a target that hasblood loss. I didn’t realize that you could get this earlier on in the game. I had this as an endgame item, but you can actually kind of ninja into an area and get it earlier on, so you should have that if you’re playing a bleed build at level 100. Getting that attack power bonus is great so that you can increase your damage, and you’re setting blood loss all the time.
Lastly, we haveWinged Sword Insignia, which boosts your attack power by a percentage after every so many hits, and you hit things just crazy with this build. Keep in mind that you don’t have to hit the same target multiple times in order for this to start stacking. You can hit multiple targets. So like if you hit one enemy once and another enemy twice, you know, it’ll trigger itself. So this is great, and it lasts for a little bit of time before it wears off. So if you’re going ham on a group of enemies or something, you’re going to keep this up pretty constantly.
The spells used for this Eleonora’s Poleblade Build build includeRotten Breath,Dragonice,Dragonclaw,Lightning Spear, andFlame, Grant Me Strength. At this level,
Dragon Incantationsstart to lose some effectiveness, butRotten Breathremains potent due to its ability to applyScarlet Rot, which can deal significant damage over time. Use it at the start of a boss fight, and the rot will continuously reduce the boss’s health, making the battle easier. It’s also useful against tough enemies you don’t want to get close to, allowing you to stay at a safe distance while the rot does its work.
Flame, Grant Me Strengthis a valuable buff spell, boosting both physical and fire damage by 20% for 30 seconds. It works well with the weapon used in this build, which has both physical and fire damage. Interestingly, despite this buff,Dragoniceoften outperformsDragonfiredue to its ability to applyFrostbite, reducing enemy defenses. This makesDragonicepreferable, as it not only deals significant damage but also weakens the enemy, making them more vulnerable to your attacks.
Dragonclawis more situational, providing high poise and allowing you to tank through attacks. It’s useful when you’re cornered and need to stagger or knock down an enemy to escape. While its damage isn’t as high as other spells, it can be a lifesaver in tight situations, and its physical damage offers an alternative to the more common fire and bleed-based attacks in this build.
Lightning Spearis a reliable ranged option, particularly useful in fights where you need to keep your distance. It’s quick to cast and provides a good single-target ranged attack, especially when you don’t have time to charge a breath spell.
For general combat, use theTwinbladefor regular attacks and the L2 skill to engage large or tough enemies. Since the L2 has a wind-up, start it early to stagger enemies before they can attack. The goal is to interrupt their attacks, build up bleed, then retreat to regroup and repeat the process.
Regarding theCarian Filigreed Crest, it reduces the FP cost of the L2 skill from 17 to 14 for a double press, which isn’t quite the 25% reduction you might expect due to rounding. It might be more effective to focus on increasingMindto compensate for the FP cost.
Flame, Grant Me Strengthis best used right before a boss fight. It has a long animation and only lasts 30 seconds, so it’s not for constant use but can give you an edge at the start of a tough battle.Lightning Spearcan pick off enemies from a distance, while breath spells work well to clear packs of enemies, especially from horseback, giving you a significant advantage without having to dismount.
When it comes to stats for this Eleonora’s Poleblade Build build, I have 40Vigor, 25Mind, 20Endurance, 17Strength, 21Dexterity, 9Intelligence, 17Faith, and 53Arcane.
40Vigoris recommended for this build because you’re likely to take hits while trading damage. When you go in swinging, there’s a good chance enemies will hit you. With 40Vigor, you have enough health to survive these encounters. You could reduce it to 35 and put the extra points intoMind, giving you more FP for spells and weapon skills. However, somewhere around 40Vigoris a safe bet.
Mindis crucial for this Eleonora’s Poleblade Build build sinceDragon Breathspells consume a lot of FP, and you’ll be using your weapon skill frequently. You can’t really have too muchMind, so as you level up, consider adding 10-15 more points to maintain enough FP for consistent spellcasting and weapon skill use.
Endurancehelps with extra stamina and increases equip load, allowing you to wear heavier armor while still maintaining a medium roll. Since this build involves trading damage, having sturdy armor is essential.
Strengthat 12 is enough for this build, but 17 Strength comes fromRadagon’s Soreseal, which adds 5 to your stats. This can be helpful if you start with a class that has lowerStrength, allowing you to meet weapon requirements.
21Dexterityis the minimum needed for this build’s weapon. If you split betweenDexterityandArcane, the damage is about the same. However,Arcanehas more benefits, so there’s no need to exceed 21Dexterity.
9Intelligenceisn’t required for this build, and it’s just a carryover from the class used to start.
17Faithis needed to castDragonclawandLightning Spear, but if you’re not using those spells, you can keepFaithat 15 for Breath spells. This gives you some flexibility based on your spell choices.
Arcaneis the primary stat for this build. It increases weapon damage, bleed buildup, and spell effectiveness, so you want to invest as much as possible intoArcane.
