Not only have the number of players on Steam tripled at over 100,000 concurrent due to the Shadow of the Erdtree trailer , but the trend is continuing upward, indicating that Elden Ring’s resurgence has not likely peaked yet. If this continues, it’s likely Elden Ring could likely break into the Top 10 Most Played Games on Steam by early next week, sitting currently at #14.
But that’s not all, the Shadow of the Erdtree news and excitement have also catapulted Elden Ring into the Top 5 Best Selling Games on Steam, sitting currently at #5. It was also revealed that Elden Ring has sold over a staggering 24 million copies since its release, netting over 1 billion dollars in total revenue!
One can only assume that if this is happening on Steam, its also happening on Playstation and Xbox as well, as players return to the Lands Between in preparation of the upcoming DLC this summer. Are you one of them?
