Exodus a Sci-fi RPG from Ex-Mass Effect Devs Reveals Second Companion

Developer Archetype Entertainment has revealed the second companion for upcoming sci-fi RPG Exodus.

The studio Archetype has revealed another companion for the sci-fi RPG Exodus. The ex-Mass Effectdevelopers are ready to show a bit more of the narrative-driven space-faring game. This time we’re introduced to the “blunt” weapons expert who uses her humour to cover their “deep-seated sense of loss”.

Elise may act like nothing touches her as “the muscle you want by your side across the Cluster” according to the official website. However, she also has a deeper emotional side that’s trying to counter the loss of Earth. This character has some memory of the world and is desperately trying to find out the meanings behind the remnants of memories she clings to.

Elise Charroux is one of the five companions players will meet in Exodus. Previously the studio revealed Tom Vargas, a charming character that has a chequered past. Archetype still has three others to reveal but so far each are interesting in their own way.

Introducing Elise Charroux – a “Mech of a Companion” who#LOVEStoFIGHT! ❤️Elise is a weapons expert with a blunt, sarcastic sense of humor that disguises a deep sense of loss.Get to know more about Elise here:https://t.co/ch06kOC979pic.twitter.com/NeT2Yykkic

We already know the game will havemultiple endingsthat won’t just space years, but “decades and even centuries”. Player choices will impact the outcome of the narrative, which sounds to be emotionally gripping with possible loss that comes with Time Dilation.

The concept of Time Dilation is a fascinating idea that is reminiscent of the movie Interstellar. Coincidentally Matthew McConaughey is in both Exodus and Interstellar, and this is his debut in a video game, which he was very excited about at the Game Awards.

Exoduswill be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
