Fallout 4 Creation Kit Open Beta
In cased you missed the news, theFallout 4Creation Kit is now in open beta for PC players. Mods are an important part of any Bethesda RPG and are already well under way for Fallout 4, but now the official kit helps streamline the process for aspiring modders as well as players. Players will have the opportunity to browse, download and install mods in-game from the title menu, which is part of the 1.5 Update PC players can opt in to.
The Creation Kit, which are the tools Bethesda used to create Fallout 4, can now bedownloaded. Bethesda has also offered players anonline help guidefor those looking to learn more about the mod creation process. Bethesda has promised to continually update and improve the Creation Kit through player feedback.
For console players, Mods will be coming to Xbox One in May and PlayStation 4 in June. Now that we have a concrete timeframe, console players will certainly be excited about participating in the vibrant modding community.
In a single player sandbox game such as Fallout 4, mods are a wonderful way to add longevity to the experience by adding new content, sometimes with hilarious results. Mods are also a fantastic method of refining and improving existing game mechanics. Whichever reason players mod, the promise of customization to a player’s taste is paramount.
