Editor at Fextralife. I look for the substantial in gaming and I try to connect video games to the emotions and stories they elicit. I love all things culture and history and have an odd fondness for the planet Jupiter. I think my dogs are pretty awesome too.
I honestly cannot tell if you are being facetious or not. That’s one of the things I hate about communicating through a text-based medium. Either way, I’ve only put a few hours into the DLC so far, and I gotta say, I’m loving it so far. The overall atmosphere and setting of Far Harbor is just such a refreshing change from the increasingly trite nuclear wasteland. It gives me a horror movie vibe, for want of a better word. And since I play on Survival difficulty using no HUD, that effect seems amplified. Anyway, far as I can tell, the DLC was definitely worth the $25.
I can assure you it is every bit as good as it seemed.
I can’t wait to get home from work so I can play. I’ve been longing for something like this for Fallout 4 for months now. I hope it’ll be as good as it seems.
Very timely with the article E! Great research, and lots of info for the wiki – yay!
