Fallout 4 Upcoming Patch Notes Detailed

Bethesda has released the details for the first upcomingpatchtosales record breakerFallout 4, titled Update 1.2.33. In it are several expected tweaks to gameplay as well as a few bug fixes for severalquests. The beta patch is now available for PC users who have opted in to beta updates. There is no concrete date for the final and console version but we anticipate it shortly. Here are thepatch notes:

New Features

Fixes

If you’re on PC, using Steam and would like to get the beta update, here’s a “how-to” on opting in to the beta program,as per Steam:

If you decide you don’t want to run the Beta anymore, redo steps 1 – 4. At the drop down, select NONE – Opt out of all beta programs.

It’s nice to see a fix forWhen Freedom Calls, as that one comes first thing for theMinutemenquests, and subsequently opens up theSettlementscomponent of the game. Not being able to complete that (without use of console commands) would be problematic to say the least. The rest of the patch is light on the notes, however, prior to release, Bethesda stated a desire to releasefrequent smaller updatesas opposed to periodic and massive ones. This first update seems to be a step in that direction, with the game now in our hands for 2 weeks.

In a game featuring over 400 hours of content there was bound to be quite a few bugs that needed squashing. A glance through theQuestson the wiki shows a few issues, and it seems as if Bethesda is responding accordingly.
