Bethesda has shared some details on the upcomingDLCforFallout 4,Vault-Tec Workshop. Set to release on July 26th for PS4, Xbox One and PC, the DLC will cost 4.99 USD and give players the opportunity to create their own custom vaults, outfit them with whatever they desire and run tests on their dwellers.
Players will have to be level 20 to access the quest that ties to the new content. Players will have to make their way into a vault, taking out raiders and ghouls who have overrun the area. Upon clearing it out, players will meet the vault’s overseer who will send the player on various missions which will open up the modification options of the vault.
Once underway players will be able to scrap and reuse items in the abandoned vault to construct its various elements. All the essential rooms like diners and nurseries are available as well as options to construct stairs and hallways to build an elaborate network for your vault dwellers. The vault itself features a large reactor which can power quite a large area. Furthermore, a terminal inside the vault gives players access to managing their settlers directly, no more running around from person to person to keep order. The terminal can also be used to track down your waywardCompanions!
Speaking of settlers, you can now put them to work generating power via a network of exercise bikes! If vanity is your thing, new settlement items will also allow you to change your hair and facial appearance if you are a desperate for a new you.
