Editor at Fextralife. I look for the substantial in gaming and I try to connect video games to the emotions and stories they elicit. I love all things culture and history and have an odd fondness for the planet Jupiter. I think my dogs are pretty awesome too.

Also, this Eitr game looks interesting, never heard about that one before.
If I was going to make a top ten list (in no particular order except for DaS3 which is a must have) it would be:
Dark Souls 3NiohFor HonorThe Last GuardianKingdom Come DeliveranceWarhammer 40,000: Eternal CrusadeHellbladeWiLDSalt and SanctuaryEitrHorizon Zero Dawn
I’ve preordered Dark Souls 3, but the rest I will wait to see if I’m going to buy. Once I have seen post-release reviews, decided which games I want the most, and seen how much money I can squeeze out of my wallet, I’ll see how much of this list I’ll actually own and play.
I didn’t see any of the Xbox One exclusives, so here’s a short list:
Gears 4Quantum BreakCrackdown 3Fable LegendsReCore
And this odd little indie called “Below”, which often gets described as an isometric Demon’s Souls:

I hope Larian bring Divinity: OS 2 to consoles. I played the first one this winter, & it’s become my all time favorite RPG. Got my fingers crossed! At least there are plenty of games to keep me occupied in the meantime as evidenced by your list!!
XCOM 2… Yay, yay indeed!
Man, there’s some promising titles in that bunch. Salt and Sanctuary is on my “must have” list.
