Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is to release on June 23rd

Heavensward is set to introduce the next stage of the Final Fantasy XIV storyline with players arriving in the city of Ishgard and lending their aid to the theocracy in their holy war against the sentient Dragons who reside in the bordering region of Dravania. As well as the new city, vast new regions which are designed to be expansive and utilize the full scope of the main feature of the first expansion, flight. In addition to this, three new Jobs (Dark Knight, Machinist and Astrologian) will be added whilst finally a new race, the Au Ra will become playable. This is of course excluding the raising of the level cap from 50 to 60 as well as over ten Dungeons, two Trials and several Raids.

Another great piece of news is that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward will also become available on the Mac on the same date, naturally sharing the same servers as all the other versions do.
