Genshin Impact Alhaitham’s 5-Star Weapon is Coming in Version 3.4

The next update for Genshin Impact, version 3.4 will bring Alhaitham’s 5-Star weapon to the online Action-RPG.

The next update forGenshin Impactis version 3.4 and we are days away from its release. The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has announced the new weapon from Alhaitham, which will be available as part of the update. The weapon called Light of Foliar is a 5-star, matching the character Alhaitham himself, going hand in hand with his playstyle.

Alhaitham will be the next 5-star character in the “Caution in Confidence” banner, arriving alongside uprates for 4-star characterXiyan(Pyro), Yaoyao (Dendro) andYun Jin(Geo). A rerun banner will also be available featuringXiaoin the “Mundane Life” banner, which shares accumulated wish guarantees between the banners. 3.4 event banners will be available starting fromJanuary 18th until February 7th at 17:59.

The new sword weapon has quite an edge, sporting an 88.2% crit damage rate and has a base ATK stat of 542 at level 90.

In case you missed it Alhaitham’s talents include the use of mirrors. He will unleash chisel-light mirrors. He can use his moves to rush forward at foes, getting into the action quickly. His ultimate is the use of the Particular Binding Field, dealing multiple instances of AOE damage on the field of battle.

Don’t forget you can try out the different characters in the “Test Run” event while the event wish is available. This is a good way to test out new characters and how they work with a fixed lineup.

In case you missed it, Genshin Impact has has a number of updates since its launch. Update 3.3 added a whole tabletop card mini-gameGenius Invokation, where you challenge your favourite characters and other players in the game. Previously it wasannounced version 3.4would be adding a new character to the lineup in the form of the Dendro sword-wielding Alhaitham. Along with a new character comes the yearly Lantern Rite Festival, which adds festive activities to Liyue. But there is much more heading in this big patch, a new location will open up in the Desert of Hadramaveth. There is a set of cave systems players will explore and a new boss Setekh Wenut to best.
