Ghost of Tsushima Co-Op Mode Launches Next Week

Sucker Punch have announced that co-op mode for Ghost of Tsushima will be launching next week in addition to the New Game+ with the Legends update.

Sucker Punch has already confirmed that the updatewill not include any microtransactionsaccording to a recent interview, and the update will be completely free to those who own the game. Legends is a separate mode that doesn’t follow the main character Jin or any of his companions. Instead players will band together with four warriors total, who “…have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima” according to Sucker Punch Productions Darren Bridges.

The co-op mode will have group matchmaking from 2-4 players. Each player gets to choose from four character classes: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin and Assassin, which will be based on theMythic Talesthat have been told by people in Tsushima. There is also a 2 player story mission and a post-launch raid coming.

The trailer previews the classes plus some of the gear players can gain, including new Legends cosmetics.
