Action-adventure title Ghostwire: Tokyo is heading to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass this April. New content to be released on all platforms.

It’s been almost a year since Ghostwire: Tokyo released on PC and PS5 as a timed console exclusive. This April 12th, Xbox Series X|S will be gaining the title for the first time. Along with the new platform comes new content which will be available on all platforms.

In case you missed it, Ghostwire: Tokyo is from the developer Tango Gameworks who worked on The Evil Within and most recently the surprise action-adventureHi-Fi Rush. The game is set in Tokyo, delving into the supernatural and heading to the rooftops of the metropolitan city.

Xbox players won’t be the ones having all the fun, as the developer also shared new content will be coming to all platforms. Players will gain a new free update called “Spider’s Thread”. This DLC adds a new game mode which introduces a 30-stage gauntlet. As you make your way through mode, you will gain in-game currency which can be used to buy upgrades for your run.

Also new with the update comes new locations and missions. The new content also grants players to see new extended cutscenes, gaining further details about the mysteries of the game.

Ghostwire: Tokyois currently available on PC and PS5. The game will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass on April 12th.
