Feb. 29, 2024“GreedFall 2: The Dying World” continues the legacy of its predecessor, known for its ambitious storytelling and the freedom it offers players to shape the story and world around them. Set in a parallel 17th century, the game combines historical elements with fantasy, allowing players to explore new frontiers filled with mystical creatures, secret societies, and colonial intrigue.
It is unknown whether the Early Access phase will offer a substantial portion of the game, but we expect it will providing players with a reasonable glimpse into the expanded universe of GreedFall. No announcement have been made regarding player feedback during this phase so we will keep you updated as this story develops..
The sequel promises to retain the beloved features of the original while introducing new mechanics, environments, and an enriched narrative. Players can anticipate more intricate diplomacy options, an enhanced combat system, and a more dynamic world that reacts vividly to the player’s decisions.
The story starts three years before the events of the first game and the adventures of De Sardet.This time you play as a native of Teer Fradee, uprooted by force from your island and taken to the continent of Gacane, where the colonists are from. In this old world ravaged by war and scarred by the Malichor plague and the political scheming of the different factions, you need to regain your freedom and control of your own destiny. Using diplomacy, cunning or combat, as well as help from allies you make, it’s up to you to end one man’s ambitions of conquest, which could spell the end for the continent and your island.

Travel across new landscapes, from Olima – the city of stars of the Bridge Alliance – to the shores of Uxantis, and uncover the secrets of these ancient lands.
